Guitar Lessons
Will teaches guitar lessons in Eugene, OR. He works with students of all ages and ability levels. Lessons are $30/half hour, available in 30/45/60 min sessions.
Lessons are typically in his home studio in the Cal Young/Goodpasture Island area, but can also be online or depending on your location at your home.

Do You Want To Begin A Guitar Journey?
In my late teenage years I fell in love with the guitar, and I've been playing for about 30 years. In that time I've explored many types of playing, music, and expression. The guitar is an instrument rich with possibility, tradition, and history. It's used in so many types of music all around the world. The possibilities truly are endless and boundless.
As a teacher I invite you on a journey to explore the guitar, and I view myself as your guide. I like to see what your interests are and pursue those, to follow your musical tastes and provide you with the information and skills to play what you truly want to play, to see what your goals are and to try to get you there as smoothly and quickly as possible, to get you playing the songs and music that you most want to play. I also like to expose you to many different aspects of the guitar and encourage you to discover new sounds, ideas, and songs.
The guitar is both a challenging and an incredibly rewarding pursuit. There is no end. There is no magical moment when you unlock everything. It is indeed a journey, a very beautiful one. It's a lifetime of learning new things and being surprised by new sounds. You begin wherever you are, whether a beginner or an experienced player, and you follow your own path. My role as a teacher is to give you the tools, knowledge, and techniques you need to take the guitar wherever you want to go.
